Advancing implantation research through collaboration

IMPLANTEU is a European doctoral network dedicated to advancing embryo implantation research through cutting-edge science, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovative training programs. Our mission is to bridge basic, clinical, and applied research to improve reproductive health and agricultural sustainability.

Bringing together leading academic institutions, research centers, and industry partners, IMPLANTEU provides highly specialized training to 13 Doctoral Candidates (DCs), equipping them with the skills to address major challenges in embryo implantation.

IMPLANTEU unites 11 beneficiaries and several associated partners from 9 European countries, forming a network of world-class researchers and institutions committed to excellence in reproductive medicine, stem cell biology, biotechnology, veterinary science, and bioethics.

Governance

The governance structure of IMPLANTEU is designed to achieve maximum communication between the participants and ensure efficiency and transparency in the decision-making process.
The Supervisory Board is the ultimate decision-making body of the consortium.
The Executive Committee  is the supervisory body for the execution of IMPLANTEU, which shall report to and be accountable to the Supervisory Board. The Executive Committee monitors that IMPLANTEU activities are delivered as planned, on time and within budget.
The DC Fellow Board (DCFB) convenes every three months. It includes all DCs and serves as a forum for providing feedback and highlighting concerns for consideration by the Supervisory Board. Meetings are conducted in the absence of Supervisors, with the Project Manager acting as secretary.
